GROUNDWORKER:

Our construction company is looking for a ground-worker in London who should be a multi-tasker as well. A Ground-worker must have prior experience as this is not a small job or simple task. Should have a sharp mind so that it can sometimes elucidate the designing and drawing of construction work. Should flexible in work and know some basic numeric techniques. The job of a Groundworker is not that ordinary it requires a sturdy mind and strong body. By working with the contractors of our company you will be able to learn various techniques and construction work.

Groundworker job is very much interesting for people who like and prefer outdoor work. Should have good communication skills so that he can understand logical and critical discussions. Sometimes, companies will offer to take on a trainee groundworker, without previous experience. The trainee will work alongside an experienced groundworker learning all aspects of the trade while undergoing study within a college in an apprenticeship scheme. If our company constructors find your work good and reliable you may have a chance of becoming permanent in our company or a permanent member of our constructor team. Responsibilities:

  • Should prepare the ground for the construction of the building.
  • Is responsible for drainage, curb, and channel, and flagging.
  • If any logistical issue occurs should set up a site or deal in a good way.
  • Mark out the area for the site using string lines strung between stakes.
  • Should be capable of understanding and reading the bar bending schedules.
  • Must have a diploma in relevant work. Or any other short course.

 

Tools Required:

As well as a high visibility vest, safety hat, and safety boots, ground-workers are required to bring their own tools. Other tools like hammers etc. will be provided by the company.

Alienation Recruitment is looking for an experienced electrical technician to assemble, evaluate and maintain electrical systems of predominantly portable equipment.

Electrical Technician Job Description:

The electrical technicians do not only design electrical systems but will also identify potential problems in design.

As an electrical technician, you need to read electrical system design plans. This should conclude with recommendations in improvements, whilst calibrating instruments, and diagnose faulty equipment. You must be able to operate in planned maintenance procedures, effectively and safely within competence, experience; qualifications, and skill set.

You must also have an ability to deal with damage within competence, experience; qualifications, and skillset as needed. Likewise, you know how to write maintenance reports for Building Maintenance Activities. You must assist in the training of maintenance staff involved in similar activities.

You need to carry out the assessment; maintenance and repairs to various electrical systems including equipment and services on-site, where necessary and within competence, experience; qualifications, and skill set. Furthermore, you need to diagnose faults on Electrical support systems to alter where necessary and competence, experience; qualifications, and skill set. You need to follow detailed drawings and operational maintenance manuals in order to carry out all planned maintenance, routine inspections, and reactive repairs.

You should always act as LV AP undertaking specialist works including the planning of any subcontractor works and shift electrician whilst acting as health and safety promoter. Not only that, but you must assist in the development of maintenance routines, procedures, risk assessments, preparing and maintaining relevant technical records.

You must have a teamwork mindset with other workers to develop cross-selling and cover every aspect/level of maintenance work. You must involve in emergency call-out arrangements and provide cover where necessary during sickness absence periods.

Required Experience:

Qualified and experienced in an electrical engineering discipline (NVQ Level 2 in Electrical services or equivalent)
18th Edition (IET) Wiring Regulations
Building and facilities maintenance experience
LV trained
Working to AP status

Ideal:

Electrical engineering NVQ 3 level
Electrical Safety & Part P
High-level specialism
HV AP trained to work towards AP status
Multi-skilled background
Periodic Inspection and Testing
Portable Appliance Testing; in particular City and Guilds or EAL
HTM requirements comprehension
